Applying for a place in a 3 and 4 Year Old Setting
The Welsh Government funds the Local Authority to ensure that all children in Wales have access to free part time Early Years Education from the beginning of the term following the child’s third birthday. Each qualifying child can receive a maximum of 10 hours per week of funded Early Years Education if they attend an approved, funded pre-school education setting. The Guilsfield Pre-School Playgroup is a funded pre-school education setting. The table below shows when your child will become eligible for up to 5 terms of funded part time pre-school provision:-

Applying for a place in Guilsfield School to commence full time education
If your child was born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016 they can start school in September 2020.
if your child was born between 1 September 2016 and 31 August 2017 they can start school in September 2021.

Admissions at other times
Application for admission to our school at other times, e.g. for those moving into the County, should be made to the Admissions and Transport Team, who will be able to advise concerning admission procedure and availability of places, etc.
