School Eisteddfod

We hold a School Eisteddfod each year as close to 1st March (St.David's Day) as possible. The Eisteddfod is an event open to parents and the community of Guilsfield to celebrate children's achievements in Welsh and foster a Welsh/Wales identity.

All children in the school participate in the School Eisteddfod and below are some of the activities the children take part in:

• Welsh poem recitations.
• Group contemporary dancing.
• Individual dancing.
• Artwork produced in line with the National Eisteddfod criteria and theme.
• Individual instrumental performances.
• Group instrumental performances.
• Handwriting in Welsh
